Guarantee
TAP8 provides a 3-month replacement guarantee on manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. If your product fails through no fault of your own within that period, we will replace it at no cost. This guarantee does not cover physical damage, water damage (unless sold as waterproof), misuse, loss, or failure caused by third-party platforms or URLs you have linked to the product.
In addition to our guarantee, your purchase is protected by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). Our products must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the CGA or Fair Trading Act 1986 for consumer purchases.
Because most TAP8 products are custom-made to your specific requirements (including engraving, branding, and encoded profile URLs), we cannot accept returns for a change of mind.
If you believe your product is defective, please follow these steps:
- Email support@tap8.co.nz
- Include your Order Number
- Provide a detailed description of the issue
- Attach a clear photo of the product and the defect (if visible)
We will assess your claim and respond within 3 business days.
If the defect is confirmed to be a manufacturing or production issue covered by our guarantee or the CGA, TAP8 will cover the return postage costs. If the claim is not upheld upon physical inspection, the return postage will be at your cost.
